New York, New York Orthotics Territory Sales Representative – Northeast USA Territory

A rapidly growing O&P manufacturer specializing in cutting-edge knee orthotics is seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Representative to drive growth in the Northeast region. This company is known for its innovative technology, including proprietary mass customization software and 3D printing, which delivers biomechanically superior solutions for patients.

 

Position Overview

As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be a key member of the sales team, responsible for expanding the customer base, building relationships with healthcare professionals, and executing sales strategies to increase revenue across the Northeast territory.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Identify and develop new accounts while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct cold-visits and deliver engaging on-site sales presentations.
  • Provide detailed product demonstrations to healthcare specialists, including Orthotists, Prosthetists, Orthopedists, Chiropractors, and Physical Therapists.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to maximize market penetration in the territory.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to enhance client engagement.
  • Manage sales pipelines and forecasting through CRM tools.
  • Represent the company at industry tradeshows and conferences.
  • Travel frequently (50-60%) to meet with clients in person.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience (background in orthotics, kinesiology, or athletic training is a plus).
  • 4+ years of experience in medical device sales (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot), and sales management software.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and meet targets.
  • Experience in a startup environment or launching new technologies is an advantage.
